Dr. Cody Petro-Sakuma

Dr. Cody Petro-Sakuma was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. He attended the University of Hawai’i at Manoa where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree and a Master’s of Science Degree. He continued his education at Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. During his years as a student, he has worked at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology, the National Poultry Improvement Program (NPIP), Total Ranch Analysis of Colorado (T.R.A.C) and has also spent time in the high mountains focusing on bovine herd health. He has a particular interest in preventative medicine, soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, and critical care.
In his off-time, Dr. Petro-Sakuma enjoys spending time in the mountains, at the archery range, or cooking exquisite meals for his loved ones, and the staff at Littleton Veterinary Clinic. Aside from being a practicing veterinarian, he is also a ceramic artist, avid water-sports enthusiast, and cat-dad.

Dr. Amanda Rust

Dr. Amanda RustDr. Amanda Rust was born and raised in Ken Caryl Ranch, CO. She attended Colorado State University for her Bachelor of Science Degree and continued to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine there. While in veterinary school, Dr. Rust became certified in Veterinary Acupuncture through CuraCore Academy. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery, multi-modal pain management, and preventative medicine. What drives Dr. Rust in the field, however, is the special bond she gets to share with animals and their humans.

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Rust enjoys spending time with her husband, son, two dogs, and cat. She loves quilting, exploring the great outdoors with off-roading and camping, and just relaxing on her back porch with her family.

Dr. Mills

Dr. MillsDr. Mills is a Colorado native, growing up in the lovely town of Glenwood Springs on the western slope. After graduating from CSU with a degree in Sociology she started a career working in law enforcement, which lasted about seven years before making the switch to veterinary medicine. It was important for her to continue to serve the community while following her passion of helping animals. After a short move to Manhattan Kansas, she graduated from Kansas State University and promptly returned to Littleton. She shares her home with her husband, and her rescue dog Huckleberry. When not at clinic she is probably traveling, but if at home she enjoys snowboarding, jigsaw puzzles, reading and is an avid Colorado Avalanche fan. She is thrilled to join Littleton Veterinary Clinic which has quickly felt like home.
