Our Staff

Jessi, Registered Veterinary Technician

Jessi Yoakum CVT
I’m Jessi. I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2013, after obtaining my degree from the Community College of Denver. In addition, I have a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics. However, the Veterinary Field is where I’m happiest. Mixed animal medicine is my true passion, and I have lots of experience with both small and large animals. In working alongside the knowledgeable and caring doctors here at Littleton Veterinary Clinic, it is my goal to provide the best possible care and medicine to your furry family members. As for outside of the clinic, I was born and raised in Colorado and I love it here. Growing up, I was always out in that Colorado sunshine on horseback, and that is where you will still find me!

Julie, Registered Veterinary Technician

Julie Richter CVT

Hello. My name is Julie Richter. I’m a Colorado native and began my veterinary technician career in 1992 after graduating from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. There I earned my AAS degree. I took a break from veterinary medicine between the year 2000 to 2014 to raise my three wonderful sons and feel blessed to have been able to do so. I have been with LVC since and it has been my privilege to watch the practice grow. LVC and it’s wonderful team members have truly become my second family. We love and support each other and take great pride in helping pets and their people. Outside of work I enjoy paddle boarding (with my dogs of course) hiking and horseback riding.

Véronique (V), Practice Manager

Capture
My name is Véronique, but people lovingly call me “V”. I moved to the United States from Belgium in 1998 to the beautiful beaches of Northwest Florida. In 2009 after I married my husband, we moved to Indianapolis.  While living there, I worked as a receptionist / dog groomer in a dog resort. I’ve owned, loved, and cared for my pets ever since I was a small child. I grew up with German Shepherds, a Husky, and several kitties. I currently own a Pomeranian, a Pomeranian mix, and three spoiled cats. In April of 2016, I had the opportunity to move to Colorado, the state in which I’ve always wanted to live. I was very fortunate to expand my pet knowledge and to get hired at Littleton Veterinary Clinic as a veterinary receptionist / assistant. I love to help care for people’s pets and to be amongst animals and animal lovers every day.

Claire, Registered Veterinary Technician / Hospital Supervisor

Claire
Hi, my name is Claire. I moved to the United States from France in 1999 and lived in Houston, Texas until I moved to Colorado in 2011. Animals have been an immense part of my upbringing and to this day my life would be quite empty without them! I am a graduate of the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and have experience in both small and large animal medicine. My four-legged family consists of an adorable Border Collie mix named Rusty, a German Shepherd named Nala and a beautiful palomino mustang named Starshine. All my furry kiddos are rescues with unique personalities! Living in Colorado, my enthusiasm for the outdoors has reached its peak. When I’m not working and loving on my client’s companions, I enjoy skiing, hiking, camping and discovering all the beautiful places the U.S. has to offer!

I am very fortunate to have joined the Littleton Veterinary Clinic team and to be working with such a compassionate and trustworthy staff. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) in the near future!

Carissa, Registered Veterinary Technician

Hi! My name is Carissa. I was born in Colorado and have lived in the beautiful area of Littleton all my life. I graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2019 earning my AAS degree.

I have a beautiful kitty named ‘Chowder’, she is my partner in crime and midnight snack buddy. During my free time, I love going out and taking up what Colorado has to offer. I love going to Red Rocks and music festivals all over the country! Music and animals have always been a big part of my life. I am so excited and grateful to be taking care of your four-legged fuzzy family members. One of my favorite parts about veterinary medicine is educating our amazing clients about how to keep their furry friends living long and healthy. I love working at Littleton Veterinary Clinic because of my incredible teammates. Even in the busiest of times, we all make it work. Everyone is always very positive and has a smile on their face. I am so happy to be a part of the LVC’s team!

Julie, Veterinary Assistant

I am a proud Colorado native. My husband Greg and I have raised 3 great children here, and many pets. We currently have two sweet cats and two energetic little dogs.

I have had many jobs in my life, but working as a Veterinary Assistant is definitely the best. I am passionate about all animals, and I love taking care of people and their pets.

In my time outside the clinic, I love running, paddle boarding, cooking and spending time with my family and pets.

I feel lucky to work with such a kind and knowledgeable team of doctors and staff, and I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon!

Alicia, Receptionist

Ahoy-hoy! My name is Alicia. My father’s military service brought my family here from a small town in Montana. Our family ultimately fell in love with Colorado, and we are all proud to be permanently “stationed” here now. I am an avid student, enthusiastic artist, sci-fi/fantasy lover, and dedicated husky mom. I earned my AA in Psychology at the beginning of 2020, and am actively working toward a doctoral degree. I strongly feel that our animal companions can support us as much as (and often more than) we support them, so I am very passionate about giving them the best lives that they can have. My husband and I are the proud owners of two ‘difficult’ huskies, Nebrknezr (Nezr) and Hikaru (Hika). We adore the unique personalities and devotion that these dogs are capable of, and we hope to build an environment that will allow us to foster or rescue more in the future. I am so excited to be working in a clinic that cares so deeply for every patient, and extends that care beyond visits to the clinic. I look forward to meeting you and your family soon!

Jesmine, Veterinary Assistant

Hello! My name is Jesmine, and I am a certified veterinary assistant after having graduated from the Community College of Denver in 2020. I am from Washington D.C. originally and moved to Littleton five years ago with my family. Colorado has become my home and I love living in Littleton. I have four dogs and one cat and love spending my time surrounded by animals. In my spare time I enjoy rock climbing, hiking in the mountains, skiing, and playing tennis. Caring for animals is my true passion and I am incredibly lucky to work with the loving team at Littleton Veterinary Clinic!

Chrissy, Receptionist

Hi, I’m Chrissy. I am a Colorado native, but I have had a few out-of-state adventures. I attended the Barnes Business College’s Medical Office Administration program and later received my CRIS credentials from AHIOS.  I spent 20 years working in the human medicine field.  Recently, I have followed my heart back to animals.  I love working with them and their wonderful people.

In 2021, I finished my course in Reiki and natural healing, and received my certification as a Reiki Master Practitioner and Natural Healer. I currently live with my fiancé, son, daughter, our 2 dogs and 3 cats. I enjoy hiking, horseback riding, reading, gaming, the ocean and spending time with my family.

Lauren, Veterinary Assistant / Receptionist

Hi there! My name is Lauren. I am a Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist here at the clinic. I am a Colorado native, and grew up in the mountains surrounded by all kinds of wildlife and different pets, so my passion for animals has always been strong. I currently have 4 cats; Moose, Sora, Bubby, and Sissy, whom I love dearly. In my spare time I enjoy paddleboarding, painting, knitting or anything where I can express my creativity.  It’s truly such a pleasure to have the opportunity to serve Littleton Veterinary Clinic and its patients. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!
