Dr. Trina Aftahi (Brickner) is a Wisconsin native who fell in love with Colorado while attending veterinary school at Colorado State University. She graduated from vet school in 2018 and went on to complete a rotating internship at a specialty equine hospital back home in the midwest. After her internship, Dr. Trina returned to Colorado and continued practicing as an equine veterinarian exclusively in the field. This time allowed her to hone her emergency skills as well as foster her interest in general practice. Dr. Trina then transitioned to focus more on companion animal medicine to continue practicing her love of general medicine and helping people help their beloved animals. She looks forward to meeting you and helping facilitate a happy and healthy life for your furry companions!
Dr. Trina resides in Parker with her husband Kia, pitbull/beagle mix Poppy, and mini dachshund Vienna. They love playing tennis, hiking, trail riding with their quarter horse Riley, and enjoying all that Colorado life has to offer.
